Bulk of the translations (Initial translation text created by Sunil Kumar and imported as the user title 'multiple contributers') have been done using offline files from: http://drupal.org/project/ml

The online system provided on l.d.o (localize.drupal.org) makes it smoother and easier for more than one person to translate/review strings translated from English text to Malayalam text.

I'd like to congratulate and thank translators Sunil, Aneesh and Sadik for their efforts.

For new members who have strings waiting approval: please add a comment (http://localize.drupal.org/comment/reply/127#comment-form) on this post to let the translation management (currently sunilkumar and I) know that you have translations awaiting approval.

Additionally, the site seems to have been updated (http://localize.drupal.org/node/1218) with new features.

After spending some time around i would like to do a survey that will help the newbies.

  • preferred editor of choice to type in Malayalam.
  • Online dictionary that is referred to.
