Checking Kannada Translation Homepage, we see the daunting task ahead of us. As of drafting this page, it says:

178629 strings to translate

Nearly 200k words and phrases to be translated! Well, that worried me the first time I thought I would chip in and hence I contacted our group moderator p6. We realized that we do need a plan of action to tackle this effort.

Here is the order of projects we should aim at (from high to low priority):

  1. Drupal (core)
    1. 6.x
    2. 7.x
  2. Contributed modules
    1. CCK
    2. Views
    3. Panels

Of course, the order of the contributed modules may need to be adjusted on actual needs.
The Drupal core project though should be our priority. As per p6 since 5.x is almost deprecated with 7.x in alpha stage we should focus on getting translation complete for Drupal 6.x.

More than a month ago, I suggested about 25 translations.Those are yet to be approved. Why does it take so long to get approved? Or is there anything else to be done by me?

I did some translations, but none of them approved. Is manager or admin are not active on Kannada project?
