I have downloaded and employed the translation file for the Drupal 6x project. Thanks to all who worked on this and for making it available.
I noticed when installing that the permissions on the folders that unpacked from the download caused errors. By setting all folders within my drupal directory structure to read only the install worked fine. Obviously the sites folders and settings.php file permissions need resetting, but I'm not sure which others might.
I thought I would point this out. I'm not sure if its an oversight in the way it was packaged, or something I'm responsible for in unpacking it, but the workaround I'm using doesn't seem too secure.
