Localize.drupal.org is becoming one of the least taken care of properties on drupal.org. Although Sebastien Corbin does a heroic job preparing the Drupal 7 site upgrade, that is still off in the future. There are existing bugs (in translation packaging, project parsing, performance, etc). Noticed that the frontpage stats have been disabled for performance reasons for months? Yeah. There are infrastructure tasks and Sebastien also needs people to join porting the site to Drupal 7.

With Drupal 8 planned to be relying even more on data from localize.drupal.org directly, the site will gain even more prominence. We can safely say though that pretty much nothing is going to change/be fixed on the site if people don't step up. Time for you to make a contribution!

To help people get started I'm holding a BoF at DrupalCon Munich titled "We love localize.drupal.org". If you do too, and want to help, come and discuss.

Yesss, I love l.d.o!
We experience some problems with the l.d.o nowadays (e.g. 7.24 builds, API key UI, etc.) and although I'm not familiar with the code base and not qualified to be a site maintainer I am ready to give a helper hand with my limited knowledge.
SebCorbin, please let me know if this announcement is still relevant.

Hello guys,

Please for forgive me if this post is in wrong node.

Rohingya is a language spoken by 3 million Rohingya people around the world and they belong to Arakan State - Burma. Please add Rohingya language to localize.drupal.org. I did check at https://localize.drupal.org/ and didn't find our Rohingya language in the list.

Here is the link of my request to l.d.o :
https://drupal.org/node/2193051

You are kindly requested to give me information about how to proceed with new language request.

Best regards,

Haroon Yousuf

Open a new issue for a project titled Rohinhga. Check the issue queue first to see if someone already have an open issue first.

I am already a side moderator at Drupal.org, deleting spam and blocking spamming users.

I am volunteering to do the same thing on localize.drupal.org if given the required access.
